Lee County Bar hosts Law Day “Law in the Mall”

To kick off Law Week, the Lee County, the Lee County Bar Association invited the public to attend Law in the Mall, April 29th, marking the 24th year that local attorneys have stepped up to provide free legal advice to citizens in Lee County.  A divorce paralegal that provides paralegal services for divorces in st petersburg fl can be of significant help here.  The Lee County Bar Association and its near 800 members of attorneys and judges take pride in giving back to the community each year.  Since its inception, Law in the Mall has paired hundreds of leading attorneys with thousands of Lee County citizens to provide pro bono legal advice to those who may not be able to afford legal services otherwise.  Individuals simply had to stop by the mall to request one-on-one time with one of the onsite attorneys.  There was no prequalification or pre-registration necessary.  The LCBA also presented free public seminars on a variety of law topics during the event.  Attorneys offered answers and direction on situations that fell within their practice areas, including, but not limited to: divorce, probate, criminal law, bankruptcy, real estate, foreclosure, and more.  The following free public seminars were presented by volunteer attorneys in Law in the Mall:

  • Simple wills and estates;
  • Power of attorney;
  • Guardianship and guardian advocate cases; and
  • Family law.

Law Day celebrates the importance of the U.S. legal system and judicial branch.  It was originally proposed by ABA President Charles Rhyne, and officially established in 1958 by President Eisenhower’s proclamation.  Remember, that you may not only find an affordable family law attorney in the Florida area very soon as well as one of the top family law attorneys.  This year, the LCBA also kicked off  the KindLee Campaign, which serves to inspire random acts of kindness by sharing kind acts across social media with the KindLee.
